Role Overview:

Due to continued growth, there is an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team and play a key role in shaping the company’s future success. This is a key position for someone who can drive business growth, identify and secure new opportunities, and build excellent rapport with both new and existing clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships
  • Work closely with leadership and engineering teams to develop strategic growth plans
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline and identify market opportunities
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
  • Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and delivered on time and to budget
  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions
  • Represent the business professionally to clients and stakeholders


Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with sectors such as defence, aerospace, or scientific industries
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Professional, credible, and confident when engaging with technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage your own sales pipeline
