World Bio Markets Ltd is an international event organiser and online publisher. We run a global series of market leading events for the biomanufacturing industry, focusing on 1-2-1 meetings, well curated content and unparalleled networking. We own and operate events in The Hague, Nebraska and Singapore, supporting the commercialisation of bioeconomy alongside our well-read weekly newsletter and news site, World Bio Market Insights.
The team has extensive experience and expertise in building events that connect their market and create real value for their customers. We’re now looking for a personable, ambitious go-getter to join our sales team. Working closely with our Managing Director you will have all the support, data and insights you need to effectively chase our bulging pipeline of deals. Our business is growing fast, and so it is the perfect opportunity for the right person to come and join in the upward curve.
Job Description:
- Your primary job is to sell exhibitors, sponsors and tickets for our three annual events, to managers up to C-Level of some of the most innovative companies in the world.
- To manage your pipeline and develop leads form our well engaged database.
- To be proactive and source new leads and data to be researched by our in-house team.
- To generate maximum revenue on any event you are selling on
- To work within a team environment towards team goals
- To meet or exceed personal targets, revenue targets and call time rates
Job Responsibilities:
- To meet or succeed yearly and monthly revenue targets by selling consistently to all possible targets; repeat delegates, new clients and prospects.
- To convince the prospect of the benefits of attending our events
- To exchange information and give necessary feedback as and when needed by colleagues in different department
- To not be afraid of making phone calls
- To complete your weekly sales reports
- You will be present at certain events and meet clients directly face-to-face
Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- A shared interest in driving the commercialisation of industrial biomanufacturing
- Previous experience in business-to-business sales
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and HubSpot
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Highly motivated, ambitious and constantly striving for excellence and success
- Customer focused and knows how to build and maintain relationships
- Self-motivation/drive with a work-ethic based on never giving up.
