We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Bid Manager to join the Sales Team at G4S Secure Solutions (UK) Ltd. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our team and bid process, which is actively integrating AI tools to enhance our efficiency and creativity. This role is perfect for a thoughtful, forward-thinking professional who wants to embrace technology as part of their approach to bidding.



What you will be accomplishing:


  • Provide expert bid management support primarily for the G4S Regional Sales team.
  • When time allows, support the business with other opportunities.
  • Actively incorporate AI tools and technology into the bid process, including prompting and editing to develop high-quality responses.
  • Manage and contribute to the development of winning strategies for bids.
  • Write high-quality, compliant, and compelling responses to tender specifications.
  • Project manage the entire bid response from the receipt of the PQQ, ITT, or similar documents through to final presentations.
  • Marshal the resources of the business to ensure a compelling and compliant response is submitted.
  • Ensure our response adheres to our rigorous bid and governance processes.
  • Manage the central helpdesk for the bid team, ensuring a seamless support process.





Your characteristics:


  • Proactive, keen to learn, ambitious. Have demonstrated that they take on responsibility, and are eager to develop and grow through their own initiative.
  • Bid management experience and a demonstrable track record of success.
  • Ideally APMP qualified at foundation, practitioner or professional level.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Demonstrate a genuine interest in AI tools and technology, with personal or professional experience in prompting, editing and utilising AI
  • Excellent project management and planning skill, and ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously and thrive under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support and develop other staff members.
  • Happy to write bid responses and have a strong competency in this area.
  • Summarise their highest level of education, with the name of the institution and education level.


Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience.
