THE ROLE:
We are looking for a strategic partner to our Senior Leadership team to support and manage our cross functional key initiatives to ensure alignment of our teams and priorities.
This is a newly created role to our organisation to both improve and enhance our leadership effectiveness, aligning team efforts and ensuring efficiency across projects and business operations.
Taking an enterprise view of activity at DF Capital, the Business Manager will be tasked with reviewing the end-to-end workstack for SLT members to ensure prioritisation and balance is loaded appropriately to support business needs during a further period of growth for our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to turn enterprise wide actions, initiatives and strategic goals into an executable programme of work.
- Ability to improve internal processes, removing barriers and ensuring smooth day to day operations across the enterprise-wide portfolio of activity, identifying inter-dependencies and conflicting deliverables.
- Ability to build bridges between departments, improving communication and ensuring everyone is aware of shared objectives and activity.
- Ability to co-ordinate and drive projects forward, engaging with and tracking senior stakeholders by deploying your proven strong project management skills.
- Ability to tackle and address issues within the programme before they escalate or cause downstream impact, holding stakeholders at all levels to account.
- Ability to build and maintain cross functional relationships with key stakeholders in order to deliver the enterprise-wide programme.
- Deep operational understanding across projects, targets and expectations to ensure smooth functioning in a fast paced, agile organisation.
- Provide decision-making support through analysis and recommendations.
- Act as the lead across special projects where required from conception through to execution.
- Supporting with change initiatives to align with organisational goals fostering a positive culture.
Requirements
- Previous large scale project management experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong operational understanding, providing cross-functional operational oversight
- Excellent organisational skills to performance monitor against our group objectives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to execute work expediently
- Experienced in utilising tools/frameworks to track progress ensuring appropriate governance and therefore outcomes
- Provide data led insights to guide decision making and strategy
