Quality Engineer

Job description

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading specialist manufacturer based just outside of Matlock, in the search for a Quality Engineer to join their established and forward-thinking team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives across the site, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions
• Apply structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and FMEA to eliminate recurring issues and improve processes
• Support the introduction of new products and process changes through quality planning and validation activities
• Conduct internal audits and assist with maintaining compliance to ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve non-conformances and improve product quality
• Analyse data and report on key quality metrics, driving a culture of continuous improvement

I'm keen to speak to Quality Engineer's with the following experience:

• Previous experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, PPAP, etc.)
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels
• A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement
