HPC Compressed Air Systems has an opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer Norwich to join the Norwich branch covering Norwich West, A47 - A22 corridors. The Service Engineer is responsible for accomplishing installation, maintenance and repair tasks on HPC or customers compressed air equipment to the required standards. The primary objective is to ensure the continued safe, reliable operation of the equipment by achieving, and striving to exceed, the standards of engineering set by company and ISO procedures and requirements.

Key Requirements:
- Carry out routine planned maintenance on HPC Compressors and ancillary products ( oil water separator’s / filters / dryers ),
- Attend equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, identify parts required and effect the repair
- Service HPC’s established customer base and support our distributor network.
- Undertake product training as required.
Key Skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience in a field based engineering role
- Good communication skills and proven successful team working with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Problem solving on technical and safety issues
- Support and work to achieve action plans ensuring objectives are met on time.
- Knowing when to escalate issues
Qualifications:
- A formal technical training by means of apprenticeship or equivalent is required together with a minimum of two years practical experience working without direct supervision.
- A sound engineering background (electrical / mechanical), with relevant experience, demonstrating clear and effective hand skills and thinking.
- A current driving licence is essential.
- Good computer skills.
HPC are offering a competitive salary with company benefits including paid overtime when available, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company sick pay, pension scheme and private medical insurance after a qualifying period. Service Engineers work a 40 week, Monday to Friday, and a mandatory out of hours paid callout rota, around once a month to 6 weeks.
