Equity Analyst - Long-Only Global Energy

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Equity Analyst from buy or sell-side with around 2-4 years' experience in the energy sector (or one related such as industrials/utilities etc) to join a highly regarded long-only global asset manager in London.

Our client operates a rigorous, fundamental approach to research, investing into companies that are transitioning towards sustainable energy sources in a concentrated, high conviction portfolio. The team applies both macro themes such as political support towards energy transition, to deep, detailed financial modelling of specific companies, and invest over the long term.

Culturally, the business is very much about collaboration, they have excellent length of tenure of their employees which is testament to the working environment and continual personal development and progression.

We are looking for someone who ideally has covered energy stocks (specifically within energy transition but we can also consider individuals who have covered broader industrials with some crossover to energy) and it's imperative that applicants can demonstrate a genuine interest in this space.

Applicants must have 2-4 years' experience in equity research at a bank, independent research house, or asset manager.
