Job description

Brierley J is partnering with a leading national main contractor that is expanding its team due to business growth. With projects based locally across the North East, the company operates across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, and private rental schemes.

Project values range from £2m to £35m, with most typically sitting between £10m–£12m.

They are keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors who are looking to join a forward thinking, people focused, and sustainability driven organisation. The business is committed to delivering projects safely and responsibly, creating long-term value for its people, supporting local communities, and driving sustainable growth.

With a strong pipeline of secured work for the next two years—built on repeat business and long-standing partnerships—the company offers stability alongside genuine opportunities for progression. They actively invest in learning and development, supporting career advancement into management roles or alternative areas within the wider business.

They are looking for someone with main contractor experience and a background delivering a variety of projects at intermediate or senior level. Refurbishment experience within the healthcare sector would be particularly advantageous.

In return, they offer a competitive salary of £40,000–£75,000 depending on experience and level, alongside a car allowance, bonus scheme, enhanced holiday entitlement that increases with service, part-time working options, and access to a range of development and leadership programmes, plus additional benefits.
