Job description

We are seeking two Senior Managers to lead Market Data Services procurement, with accountability for sourcing strategy, complex negotiations, and vendor governance across high-value, business-critical spend. This role requires a commercially sharp procurement leader with deep market data expertise, strong vendor relationships, and the confidence to operate independently at senior forums.


You will be trusted to run complex deals end-to-end, influence senior stakeholders, and challenge vendors effectively to deliver optimal commercial and strategic outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and negotiation of complex, high-value market data agreements across a diverse vendor landscape
  • Take deals confidently through internal deal review and approval boards, including senior governance forums
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to business needs, market dynamics, and commercial best practice
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market data vendors, pricing models, licensing structures, and industry trends
  • Build and leverage established vendor relationships while retaining the credibility to challenge commercial positions when required
  • Manage and influence senior stakeholders across procurement, legal, finance, and the business
  • Own ongoing vendor governance, commercial performance management, and contract optimisation
  • Deliver consistently against timelines and objectives, with a strong focus on execution and outcomes


Required Experience & Capabilities

  • Significant experience in market data procurement, sourcing, or vendor management within complex environments
  • Proven track record of leading complex, high-value negotiations with minimal supervision
  • Deep understanding of the market data vendor landscape and current market dynamics
  • Experience presenting and defending deals at senior approval and governance forums
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior teams and leadership
  • Commercially astute, highly credible, and trusted to operate independently
  • Dependable, delivery-focused, and comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end
