5 PQE+ IP Senior Associate – London – Salary up to £110,000
We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Intellectual Property Associate to join a national IP practice based in London.
This is a chance to join a full-service intellectual property team offering a seamless, integrated approach across the entire lifecycle of IP rights. The team advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters, providing strategic, commercially grounded advice to clients ranging from high-growth start-ups to established international brands.
The Role
You will work within a collaborative national structure alongside experienced Partners and Trade Mark Attorneys, handling a broad mix of advisory, portfolio management and disputes work.

Key Responsibilities:
You will advise on a broad spectrum of IP matters including:
- Trade mark and design strategy, clearance and prosecution
- Portfolio management before the UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO
- Copyright, database rights, confidential information and trade secrets
- Advertising and marketing compliance
- IP transactions and commercial exploitation
- Contentious matters before IPEC, High Court, UKIPO, EUIPO and domain name forums
- Urgent interim relief applications
This is a true mixed practice role combining both contentious and non-contentious work, ideal for a lawyer who enjoys variety and strategic involvement.
The Candidate
This firm are seeking a technically strong, commercially minded lawyer with:
- 5–10 years’ PQE in Intellectual Property
- Solid experience in brand protection, trade marks and designs
- Litigation exposure in IP disputes
- Experience working with UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO
- Excellent drafting and client communication skills
- Confidence advising founders, in-house counsel and senior executives
- A collaborative mindset and interest in business development
A postgraduate IP qualification would be advantageous.
