A leading Build-to-Rent developer and operator - responsible for one of the UK's largest and most high-profile urban regeneration projects - is looking for a skilled finance professional to join their team.


This is a broad and commercially significant position sitting at the heart of the business's debt financing and valuation activity. You'll work closely with lenders, valuers, legal counsel and internal stakeholders to structure and execute new financings, manage covenant compliance, and support business plan forecasting and major investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure and negotiate development and investment financing - managing lender lists, NDAs, pitching, structuring and documentation
  • Conduct financial analysis of proposed loan terms and prepare recommendations for financing partner selection
  • Support secured lending and year-end valuations, including sensitivity analysis and LTV covenant projections
  • Manage ongoing covenant compliance across existing corporate facilities, providing data and reporting
  • Contribute to liquidity planning and forward-looking funding analysis
  • Assist with asset sales and acquisitions - appraisals, process management and closing
  • Prepare board papers and presentations communicating performance and transaction rationale
  • Ad hoc financial modelling to support new strategies or business decisions


Candidate Profile

  • Strong financial modeller - able to build from scratch and understand the broader business context
  • Experience with investment/development financing models, DCF/Term Reversion valuations and development appraisals
  • Background from a surveying firm, investment or retail bank, or property developer/investor
  • Real estate transaction and valuation experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Degree educated; advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Genuine interest in the BTR sector
