We are a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor delivering complex, secure, and high-profile public sector projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands, we are expanding our team to support multiple upcoming schemes for the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple MOJ construction projects across the Midlands region. These schemes range from refurbishment and upgrade works within live custodial environments to new-build justice facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Manage program, cost, quality, and risk in line with business objectives
• Ensure full compliance with MOJ security, safety, and operational requirements
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, coordination, and performance
• Drive health & safety excellence in accordance with company and statutory standards
• Build strong relationships with client representatives and key stakeholders
• Report on progress, budgets, and risks to senior management

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
• Experience delivering public sector or secure environment projects (MOJ, prisons, courts, healthcare, defence desirable)
• Strong knowledge of NEC or JCT forms of contract
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in live operational environments
• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Construction Management or related discipline
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Platinum), First Aid
