Role: Contract Business Analyst
Project: SIMM model build
Industry: Financial services (non-cleared derivatives)
Location: London (hybrid 3 days per week)
Contract: 6 months rolling
Rate: £600-650/d outside IR35
X4 Technology are partnered with a leading financial services firm to support the build-out of a new ISDA SIMM calculation model as part of their ongoing Uncleared Margin Regulations (UMR) compliance programme.
They're now offering the opportunity for a contract Risk SME Business Analyst with hands-on experience in SIMM model build and previous involvement in UMR phases, to help translate complex regulatory and quantitative requirements into a robust, scalable solution.
This is a high-impact transformation role at the intersection of risk, data and technology, providing exposure to both regulatory change and operating model design.
Requirements for the Contract Business Analyst (Non Cleared Derivatives)
- SIMM / ISDA Calculations: Deep knowledge of ISDA SIMM, sensitivities, margin calculations, backtesting, benchmarking, CRIF files and VaR models
- Regulatory & Governance: Strong understanding of UMR requirements and governance frameworks
- Transformation / BA Skills: Business & technical analysis, current state assessment, data analysis & lineage, solution design, requirements definition and operating model design
