Associate, e-Fixed Income Sales (Rates & SSA)

Job description

We are mandated by a global investment bank to hire an Associate into its London-based e-Fixed Income Sales team. The role focuses on electronic distribution across Rates derivatives and SSA products to institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute electronic Rates products (IRS, STIR, inflation, government bonds) and SSA bonds across institutional accounts
• Drive flow via RFQ and streaming platforms, increasing electronic penetration and execution efficiency
• Partner closely with Rates and SSA trading desks to optimise pricing, liquidity and client coverage
• Identify curve, RV and macro-driven opportunities across sovereign and SSA markets
• Support SSA primary activity through active investor dialogue and secondary liquidity provision
• Contribute directly to revenue within a disciplined, high-volume flow environment

Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years’ experience in Rates Sales, SSA Sales or electronic Rates distribution
• Strong understanding of interest rate markets, sovereign curves and SSA issuers
• Experience covering institutional clients (AM, HF, banks) in a flow Rates environment
• Familiarity with electronic trading platforms and RFQ workflows
• Clear commercial mindset with evidence of revenue contribution
