Our client, an internationally respected architecture studio, are looking for a confident and experienced Document Controller to join their expanding London team.

Working closely with Project Managers and project teams, you will take ownership of document control processes across multiple live projects. This is a pivotal role ensuring the accurate management, distribution, and coordination of project information between internal teams, consultants, and clients.

This position offers the opportunity to work on an exciting and varied portfolio of projects within a highly professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working under the direction of Project Managers to support project delivery
  • Managing the transfer and distribution of project files, drawings, and documentation between the studio, clients, and external consultants
  • Maintaining accurate document control systems in line with project protocols
  • Ensuring all documentation is correctly named, numbered, and filed
  • Coordinating and scheduling project meetings
  • Attending meetings where required and preparing and distributing meeting minutes
  • Acting as a key point of contact for document control and project information
  • Supporting project teams to ensure deadlines and submission requirements are met


Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Document Controller role, ideally within architecture or the built environment
  • Strong working knowledge of document management systems such as Aconex, Trimble, Smartsheet, or similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
