- Identify and escalate high‑risk clients, complex structures, or red flags to senior team members or MLRO.
- Ensure adherence to AML regulations, JMLSG guidance, and internal policies.
2. Periodic & Event‑Driven Reviews
- Conduct scheduled periodic reviews in line with risk ratings (low/medium/high).
- Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) where necessary.
- Trigger, assess, and document EDRs when material changes or adverse information arise.
3. Screening & Risk Assessment
- Run and analyse screening results (PEPs, sanctions, adverse media).
- Conduct false‑positive clearance and escalate confirmed matches.
- Maintain ongoing monitoring for regulatory and commercial risk factors.
4. Regulatory & Policy Compliance
- Follow UK AML regulations, MLRs, sanctions regimes, FCA expectations, and internal FC frameworks.
- Ensure files are audit‑ready with strong documentation standards.
- Support internal and external audit requests related to CDD/KYC.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk to ensure efficient onboarding.
- Provide guidance on required documents, regulatory expectations, and client risk classification.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Recommend enhancements to CDD processes, templates, and risk methodology.
- Contribute to policy updates, training materials, and compliance monitoring initiatives.
