Senior Associate Solicitor – Real Estate Disputes & Secured Debt Recoveries| City of London | Hybrid | DOE|£80k -£100k DOE

A highly regarded Legal 500 City firm is seeking a Senior Associate (4–6+ PQE) to join its successful and rapidly expanding Real Estate Disputes & Secured recoveries team.

The team is experiencing sustained and significant growth, creating a genuine opportunity for a Senior Associate to step into a visible and progressive role within a high-performing department. The role:

Based in the city, you will work closely with the Director and Head of Department, while managing your own varied and complex caseload.

The role will involve handling a broad range of contentious real estate matters including:

• Party wall disputes
• Developer claims
• Trespass issues
• Rights of light matters
• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Possession proceedings for landlords and lenders
• Mortgage possession claims
• Enforcement of personal guarantees
• Contested lease renewals
• Forfeiture and relief from forfeiture applications
• Debt recovery (Secured Recoveries).

You will also play an active role in supporting junior team members, contributing to business development initiatives, and strengthening client relationships.

Required:

• The position requires strong technical accuracy, confident client handling skills, and the ability to manage demanding deadlines while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
• Qualified solicitors with 4–6+ years’ PQE in Real Estate Disputes and Secured Recoveries, ideally with recent London-based experience.
• Be comfortable leading matters with minimal supervision and supporting the development of more junior lawyers.
• Strong academics (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
• Excellent client relationship skills
