An award-winning, design-led architectural team in Central London is building a new division - and they're looking for an ambitious, design-led, and commercially aware recently qualified architect (or ARB equivalent) who’s ready to step into real ownership.

(Exceptional experienced Part 2's will be considered.)

What you’ll actually get here

You’ll take meaningful responsibility on live schemes - hands-on design ownership, refining design narratives, and building the work with a director’s backing, not a director’s bottleneck.

You’ll work day-to-day with an Architectural Director trained in internationally renowned design studios (UK + Europe) - with a track record across award-winning housing, major cultural work, and urban strategy. High standards. Direct feedback. Fast growth.

The immediate pipeline is early-stage design for the next 6 months - concepts, feasibility, planning, strategy, client-facing storytelling - with the opportunity to see projects through to completion.

If you’re entrepreneurial, you’ll contribute to bids and presentations, meet clients, and learn how decisions get made when a practice is growing - because you’ll be part of building it.

• A start-up division inside a serious platform

This is a new team within a wider, non-traditional business (150+ staff). You’ll feel the pace and autonomy of a start-up - with real infrastructure behind you.

The kind of work you’ll be trusted with

Residential, mixed-use, masterplanning, and urban design projects across multiple scales - with a particular sweet spot in design-led, higher-end multi-unit schemes (£10m-£80m) with a strong architecture × interiors intersection.

Expect variety:

• high-quality multi-unit residential architecture (+ interiors if of interest)
• contextual thinking (local character, stakeholders, neighbours)
• clear, persuasive client and planning-facing material
• occasional larger-scale masterplanning projects

Who we're looking for…

• A qualified architect (or ARB equivalent) who wants responsibility and visibility
• Strong London-based residential (multi-unit; high-end projects ideal) project experience, gained at a leading architectural studio
• Comfortable producing sharp presentation packs and speaking directly with clients about design decisions
• Excited by autonomy - you don’t wait to be told, you push work forward
• Revit-capable is a big plus (training/support available for the right person); SketchUp is also useful
• Interested in AI image generation? Great. Not required
• Full UK Right to Work required

Progression

A realistic trajectory to leading your own £10m+ scheme within your first 12 months, with support when needed - and the chance to build your own network through genuine client exposure.

Part 3 support/mentorship is available (and valued) for experienced architectural assistants. For qualified architects, your development path is taken seriously.
