Product & Project Manager – Halifax

This is an exciting role with a highly established, nationally recognised organisation operating at scale across the UK. This is a new hire for them and a real opportunity for you to make your mark.

You’ll take ownership of a major platform evolution leading the migration from a legacy codebase to a modern, scalable architecture

You will act as the strategic bridge between technical teams and multiple business units, shaping product direction, prioritising feature delivery, and ensuring technology genuinely drives business value.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end migration from legacy systems to a modern .NET stack
• Define and manage the roadmap, milestones, risks, and resource planning
• Work closely with developers to unblock technical challenges
• Communicate progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels and manager their expectations
• Own and prioritise incoming development requests across the business
• Translate business requirements into structured technical deliverables
• Balance long-term platform strategy with short-term operational needs
• Act as the central point of accountability for product and project progress

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience delivering complex software projects
• Experience managing platform migrations or legacy modernisation
• Strong understanding of software architecture and development practices
• Confidence working with databases, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to translate technical detail into commercial value
• Comfortable pushing back, prioritising, and making decisions
