Junior Product Developer – Womenswear

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Product Developer to join a leading premium womenswear brand immediately , supporting the women's development team to help produce innovative, trend‑led collections
The Role
As Junior Product Developer, you’ll play a key role in bringing collections to life — from initial concept through to bulk production. Working within a large, established product team, you’ll support across all womenswear categories, ensuring product is commercially viable, beautifully executed, and delivered on time.
This role suits someone who is detail‑focused, highly organised, confident working with suppliers, and passionate about premium womenswear.
Margin & Costing
Work collaboratively with design and fabric teams to develop collections that hit margin targets and cost parameters.
Present supplier and cost information during sign‑off meetings, offering solutions for pricing challenges.
Lead cost negotiations, identify margin‑improvement opportunities, and develop entry price point options.
Cross‑cost products to ensure optimum make and value.
Work closely with merchandising on pricing architecture and margin goals.
Critical Path Management
Manage the product lifecycle from concept through to bulk shipment.
Ensure timely sample delivery and collate supplier information (costings, MOQs, lead times) for sign‑off meetings.
Coordinate teams to ensure critical dates are achieved and highlight any risks.
About You - The must haves to be shortlisted
Recent experience in womenswear product development or buying & product roles (premium or contemporary experience needed , not supply ).
Strong understanding of Costing and open costing
Strong experience of Critical path management and garment construction, fabrics, fit and supplier processes
Highly organised, detail‑driven and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
Confident communicator with an interest in building supplier relationships.
Passionate about premium womenswear, product quality and brand identity.
Commutable to London and eligible to work in the UK
