Job description

Event Manager

London (EMEA remit)

50-week contract

£280 per day (£72,800 annual equivalent)

Are you a dynamic Event Manager who thrives on delivering high-impact, strategically aligned experiences across international markets? We’re partnering with a global leader in investment and asset management to find an exceptional events professional ready to take ownership of complex, high-visibility programmes across EMEA.

This organisation is one of the most influential names in global finance, managing trillions in assets and operating across 30+ countries. With a reputation for excellence, innovation and global reach, they deliver world-class experiences that reflect their brand, scale and ambition.

The Role

As Event Manager, you’ll lead and execute a portfolio of mid-to-high complexity events across EMEA — from strategic planning and creative development through to on-site delivery and post-event analysis.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll combine strategic thinking with flawless execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the planning and execution of regional events, ensuring alignment with commercial and brand priorities
  • Developing comprehensive Event Briefs in partnership with senior business stakeholders
  • Overseeing content, creative direction, experiential activations and audience engagement strategies
  • Managing cross-functional working groups (Creative, Multimedia, Digital, Content, Facilities and more)
  • Handling registration, communications, venue management and supplier coordination
  • Owning budget management and ensuring commercial discipline
  • Delivering thorough event debriefs, analysing brand impact and reputational outcomes
  • Supporting pre-event amplification and post-event follow-up campaigns
  • Travelling across the region (~30%) to support in-person activations

What We’re Looking For

  • A number of years experience in Event Marketing, Brand, or Experiential Activations
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across time zones
  • A strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the bigger picture — and zoom in to execute with precision
  • Confident communicator with strong executive presence
  • Proactive, solutions-driven and highly organised
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams at all levels
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, global environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including OneDrive) and event tech platforms such as Cvent and Coupa
