Health & Safety Advisor

£30,000 - £32,000 plus package including car or allowance.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading civil engineering & maintenance business, supporting across a region with further growth and development offered in the position. The ideal candidate will have some hands-on health & safety experience and be keen to continue to grow there skills and knowledge in the sector.

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Provide practical SHEQ advice across regional sites
• Promote a strong, positive & proactive safety culture
• Support the implementation of the company’s ISO Management System
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and site tours, reports proved to leadership
• Lead investigations for accidents, incidents and near misses when required.
• Deliver toolbox talks

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will have:

• 1-2 years' experience working in health & safety
• NEBOSH Certificate minimum
• Ideally, experience working in civil engineering or construction, would be open to wider industry experience if its in Health & Safety
• Regional role with travel required to sites
• Enthusiastic and people-focused health & safety professional.
