The Challenge

DigX is mid-flight on a major data migration and transformation programme and needs a PMO Lead to mature programme governance and ensure PMO best practice is embedded across all workstreams — from reporting frameworks and RAID management to budgets and board cadence. You'll strengthen what's in place, fill the gaps, and actively manage all of it day-to-day. This isn't a strategic advisory role that sits above the work. You're hands-on, you own the output, and programme leadership relies on what you produce.

This is a permanent role. You're joining to drive PMO maturity and staying to run it through delivery and beyond. We're not hiring you for a phase — we're hiring you for the programme.

What You'll Own

• Mature PMO processes, tools, templates, and reporting frameworks to ensure best practice across the programme
• Define and run governance cadences — steering committees, programme boards, decision logs, escalation pathways
• Own programme budget tracking, variance reporting, vendor spend oversight, and funding drawdowns
• Consolidate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies across all workstreams into a single authoritative view
• Produce executive-level reporting that connects delivery progress, financial position, and risk exposure

• You've built or significantly matured a PMO function within a complex programme — not just inherited one that was already running
• You've owned financial governance end-to-end: budgets, vendor spend, drawdowns, and variance reporting
• You can consolidate RAID across multiple workstreams and turn it into reporting that executives actually act on
• You run governance with discipline — steering committees stay on track, decision logs are maintained, escalations are clear
• You operate with independence and judgement: you challenge delivery leads when things aren't on track, and you escalate with clarity rather than waiting to be asked
• You're willing to travel to the Isle of Man at least one week in four
