Injection Moulding Setter

12 month contract | £17.51 per hour | No night shifts!

If you’re an experienced Injection Moulding Setter who enjoys being hands-on with machines, tooling and process set-ups, this could be a solid, well-structured contract role for you with clear hours and no night work.

This position sits within a busy production environment, supporting the delivery of moulded components to defined quality and production standards.

The basics:

• Contract: 12 months initially
• Hours: 39 hours per week
• Pay rate: £17.51 per hour
• Shift pattern (rotating earlies & lates):
• Earlies: Monday–Thursday: 5:30am–2:00pm, Friday: 6:00am–11:00am
• Lates: Monday–Thursday: 2:00pm–10:00pm, Friday: 11:00am–6:00pm
• No night shifts

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting and changing tools on injection moulding machines
• Setting parameters within defined process limits
• Supporting production with efficient machine set-ups and ancillary equipment
• Carrying out first-off inspections and routine quality checks
• Monitoring moulded parts throughout production and recording results
• Flagging maintenance or quality issues to the relevant teams
• Working to ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 standards and good documentation practice
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised mould shop environment

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience of Injection Moulding Machines
• Hands-on experience with tooling and parameter setting
• Comfortable working to quality systems and documented processes
• A proactive, reliable approach within a production environment

This is a practical, shop-floor role for someone who knows injection moulding and wants a contract with structure, consistency and no night shifts.
