Quantity Surveyor | £60,000 to £80,000 + package (travel, healthcare)

Prestigious Tier 1 Main Contractor | Growing Fit Out Division

London (HQ: Liverpool Street) | Projects across London

An excellent opportunity to join a prestigious Tier 1 main contractor with a group turnover of circa £1.5bn, working within a new and rapidly expanding Fit Out division, already delivering circa £20m turnover, this division is growing at pace and has an exciting pipeline of work across retail, court, and hotel fit out projects, with values ranging from £500k to £20m.

This role offers the rare chance to join a market-leading business at an early stage of divisional growth, where career progression is directly aligned with the expansion of the business.

The Role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor who can hit the ground running and take ownership of projects from an early stage. You will be part of a close-knit commercial team and play a key role in the continued success and development of the Fit Out division.

You will work closely with the Head of Commercial, a highly respected industry professional with many years of experience. The long-term vision is to develop and mentor someone who can follow her progression and, in time, take over responsibility for the commercial function as the division continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial management of fit out projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Cost control, valuations, variations and change management
• Client and internal stakeholder liaison
• Supporting the development and growth of the commercial team

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit out or main contracting
• Able to manage projects independently and proactively
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ambitious, driven, and keen to progress into senior and leadership roles
• Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
