Financial Regulatory Lawyer (5–6 PQE) – Investment Banking

London | Hybrid working | £110,000–£125,000 base + bonus + excellent benefits


Eden Recruitment is supporting a global investment bank in the appointment of a Financial Regulatory Lawyer to join its London-based Legal team.


This role sits within the advisory function supporting the Private Capital Advisory business and offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal guidance on UK financial regulation, working closely with senior stakeholders and Compliance.


This is an excellent opportunity for a regulatory lawyer seeking to move in-house, or further develop their in-house career, within a highly regarded international platform.


Key responsibilities

• Advising on UK financial regulatory frameworks, including FCA rules, AIFMD, and MiFID II

• Providing legal guidance on fund marketing, private placement, and distribution activities

• Supporting corporate finance and private capital advisory activities from a regulatory perspective

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation, including NDAs and engagement letters

• Working closely with Compliance and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment

• Monitoring regulatory developments and advising on legal and business impact


Candidate profile

• England & Wales qualified solicitor with 5–6 years’ PQE

• Strong experience in UK financial regulatory law

• Experience gained within a leading law firm, investment bank, asset manager, or regulatory body

• Strong understanding of FCA regulatory frameworks and financial services legislation

• Ability to work independently and advise senior stakeholders with confidence
