Design Engineer / London / Up to £49,000

Overview:

Our client who are a in the Point-of-Sale industry are currently seeking a Design Engineer to join their team to assist in modifying existing and designing new bespoke displays for clients.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Use Solidworks to create retail furniture
• Provide technical support and assembly drawings to support the sales team in quoting
• Create and maintain engineering drawings and specifications to the customers needs
• Using the Product Lifecycle Management system to complete drawings
• Attend client meetings
• Liaise with project managers and manufacturing team throughout the product prototype process
• Produce detailed reports from meetings regarding key points
• Specify best materials for the project with regards to project
• Liaise with clients regarding specific requirements
• Creating installation manuals
• Update planning schedules

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years working in a similar position in the Point of Sale industry
• Confidence to speak to clients
• Experience on Solidworks
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite
• Team player

Package:

• Up to £49,000 basic salary
