You will be joining a close-knit and collaborative Workforce Advisory Group of approximately 18 professionals. The team provides a holistic service to clients, bringing together expertise across Global Mobility, Employment Tax, and Share Schemes.

We work with a diverse client base, from high-growth start-ups to established multinationals and investment funds, supporting them with the complex landscape of employee reward, mobility, and tax compliance.

The Role

We are seeking a Share Schemes Manager or Senior Manager to play a key role within the team. The position is primarily advisory, with some compliance responsibilities, offering direct exposure to partners and significant autonomy in managing your own portfolio and workflow.

Advisory & Structuring

  • Designing and implementing share plans (both HMRC tax-advantaged and unapproved) aligned to clients’ commercial objectives.

Technical Delivery

  • Leading the delivery of complex projects, including growth share planning, split interests, freezer shares, nil-paid arrangements, and employee ownership trusts.
  • Advising investment fund clients on the tax structuring of carried interest and co-investment arrangements for fund managers.

Client Management

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing billing processes, and developing long-term client relationships.

Collaboration

  • Working closely with colleagues across Employment Tax and Global Mobility to provide integrated, joined-up solutions.

Leadership & Development

  • Supervising junior team members, reviewing work, and supporting their ongoing technical and professional development.

The Person

We are looking for someone technically strong, commercially aware, and proactive, with the confidence to build trusted client relationships.

Essential Skills & Experience

Qualifications

  • Degree educated and/or CTA, ATT, ACA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Qualified lawyers with relevant experience will also be considered.

Technical Expertise

  • Experience across some or all of the areas listed above.
  • Strong understanding of the interaction between employment tax, CGT, and NICs in relation to equity reward.

Corporate Awareness

  • Appreciation of the accounting, employment law, and company law implications of share incentives.

Communication Skills

  • Ability to translate complex tax legislation into clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice.

Why Join Us?

We are committed to creating an environment where individuals can thrive and perform at their best. We offer an agile working framework, enabling flexibility depending on the needs of you, your team, and your clients.

  • Clear progression pathways with structured development, mentoring, and coaching support.
