Job description
A leading international law firm is seeking a Private Equity Paralegal to join its highly regarded Corporate team in London. This role offers exposure to complex, high-value private equity transactions, working closely with partners and associates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the team across the full transaction lifecycle, including:
- Assisting on private equity investments, acquisitions, disposals and portfolio company matters
- Drafting and reviewing corporate documentation, including SPAs, shareholder agreements, articles of association, board minutes and ancillary documents
- Managing due diligence processes and preparing due diligence reports
- Coordinating signing and completion processes, including preparing bibles and CP checklists
- Conducting Companies House filings and maintaining statutory records
- Liaising directly with clients, opposing counsel and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Corporate or Private Equity paralegal role within a reputable law firm
- Strong academic background
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving transactional environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
