An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Manager to join a leading commercial gallery in London. This position is ideal for an experienced fine art logistics professional who can lead warehouse operations while remaining hands-on with technical art handling and storage requirements. You will play a key role in safeguarding and managing high-value artworks within a fast-paced gallery environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations within a commercial gallery setting
• Lead, manage, and develop warehouse staff and art handlers
• Coordinate the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of artworks
• Supervise packing, crating, and condition reporting of fine art
• Ensure museum-grade handling standards are consistently maintained
• Manage inventory systems and maintain accurate artwork location tracking
• Plan logistics for exhibitions, art fairs, and client installations
• Liaise with couriers, shippers, framers, and conservators
• Maintain strict environmental controls and storage standards
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry best practice
• Support installation teams with technical handling when required
• Monitor operational efficiency, budgets, and warehouse performance

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing a fine art warehouse or gallery storage facility
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct teams and projects
• Hands-on experience in art handling, packing, and technical installation
• In-depth understanding of fine art storage standards and environmental controls
• Excellent organisational and inventory management skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with artists, clients, and internal teams
