Office Manager (Concierge Services)
£38,000 - Temp to Perm
Location - London Bank - 5 days per week
Role Overview
The Office Manager will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of a high-end concierge office serving 50+ clients within the building. Drawing on a strong hospitality background (such as hotels or serviced accommodation), the role ensures exceptional client experience, efficient team management, and impeccable standards across the Centre.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management, operational oversight, and a strong focus on service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee the daily running of the concierge office, ensuring seamless operations at all times
- Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality throughout the Centre
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they impact clients
- Act as Centre Manager when required, taking full responsibility for site operations
Team Leadership & People Management
- Oversee on-site staff, including Client Experience Assistants, cleaners, maintenance teams, and external contractors
- Ensure fair and balanced task distribution to support efficient workflows and team wellbeing
- Lead regular 1:1 meetings, set clear goals, and support individual development plans
- Coordinate and document daily team briefings to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Foster a positive, service-led team culture that reflects a premium hospitality environment
Scheduling & Administration
- Manage staff rotas to ensure appropriate coverage at all times
- Authorise annual leave and monitor team absences
- Maintain accurate records related to staffing, attendance, and daily operations
Client Experience
- Ensure clients receive a consistently high level of service aligned with luxury hospitality standards
- Act as a point of escalation for client issues, resolving concerns professionally and efficiently
- Build strong working relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment (hotel, serviced apartments, luxury customer service, or similar)
- Proven experience managing teams in a client-facing setting
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience working in concierge services, serviced offices, or premium residential/commercial buildings
- Experience acting as a duty manager or centre manager
- Familiarity with rota planning and absence management
