Role
As a Disaster Recovery Consultant, you’ll ensure the resilience of critical technology systems. You’ll design and maintain recovery plans, coordinate testing with providers, manage risks, and support training and awareness across the business. You’ll work closely with the Business Continuity Team to embed strong recovery practices and safeguard core operations.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Coordinate testing with service providers and vendors
- Identify risks, gaps, and vulnerabilities
- Ensure compliance and clear documentation
- Deliver staff training and readiness activities
- Partner with technology, data, and continuity teams
- Monitor and enhance recovery processes
Key Skills
- Strong background in disaster recovery/business continuity
- Skilled in risk assessment and recovery planning
- Experience leading DR exercises and vendor coordination
- Familiar with standards (e.g., ISO 22301)
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical groups
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable
