Job description
An established property company is looking for a confident and organised Maintenance Coordinator to join their busy in‑house team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving and keeping operations running smoothly across a large residential portfolio.
About the role:
You’ll be responsible for coordinating maintenance activity for around 400 properties, acting as the key link between tenants, contractors and the wider team. No two days look the same, and you’ll play a vital role in ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and tenants receive a high level of service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing, scheduling and booking all maintenance jobs across the portfolio
- Coordinating daily workloads for two maintenance contractors
- Organising move‑in maintenance and ensuring properties are ready for new tenants
- Handling tenant enquiries and resolving first‑line complaints professionally
- Processing invoices, quotes and ordering materials
- Carrying out property inspections, meter readings and CCTV checks
- Maintaining accurate Excel records and updating internal systems
- Providing cover for the wider maintenance team when required
Looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple tasks. Strong communication skills, a calm approach and the ability to build good relationships with tenants and contractors will help you thrive in this role.
