£100,000-£115,000 base salary + £35,000 Bonus OTE + Benefits

We’re looking for a Pre-Sales AI Architect to lead AI solution design, shape high-quality tender responses, and scope transformative AI engagements across multiple industries.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role where technical depth meets storytelling, commercial thinking, and strategic influence.

As a Pre-Sales AI Architect, you will:

• Bridge business challenges with scalable AI-powered solutions
• Lead technical responses for AI-related RFPs and competitive tenders
• Scope AI delivery programmes including effort, phases, risks, and assumptions
• Design end-to-end AI architectures across cloud platforms
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders

You will directly influence revenue growth by shaping winning proposals that are both innovative and deliverable.

What You’ll Be Doing

Shape & Scope AI Opportunities

• Run discovery sessions with stakeholders
• Identify high-value AI use cases aligned to business drivers
• Define delivery phases, resource plans, timelines, and risk frameworks

Design AI Architectures

• Translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions
• Design architectures covering:
• Model development
• Data pipelines
• MLOps and monitoring
• Cloud integration (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Validate feasibility with engineering and delivery teams

✍ Lead Tender & Bid Responses

• Own technical sections of AI RFPs and RFIs
• Develop compelling solution narratives and architecture artefacts
• Define scope, assumptions, estimates, and governance approach
• Balance innovation with realistic delivery

Articulate Value

• Clearly communicate business impact and ROI
• Present complex AI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Showcase innovation in GenAI, Responsible AI, and emerging architectures (RAG, vector search, embeddings)

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in pre-sales, AI architecture, or technical bid writing
• Strong capability in scoping AI/ML programmes and estimating effort
• Deep understanding of:
• Machine learning (supervised & unsupervised)
• Generative AI & LLMs
• Embeddings, vector databases, RAG
• MLOps and model lifecycle management
• Experience with platforms such as:
• Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI
• Databricks, LangChain, Hugging Face
• Ability to develop architecture artefacts (HLDs, solution diagrams, delivery models)
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in consultancy, systems integration, or AI solution environments is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and ethical AI
