Restructuring Manager

Job description

An established national advisory firm is seeking an experienced Manager to join its Restructuring team. This is an opportunity to take a lead role in delivering complex restructuring, turnaround and formal insolvency assignments within a highly regarded and growing practice.

The Role

You will manage a varied portfolio of corporate restructuring and insolvency engagements across multiple sectors. The position involves leading high-impact assignments, advising stressed and distressed businesses, and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic and practical solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of restructuring and insolvency cases
• Leading trading and pre-pack administrations, liquidations and CVAs
• Delivering turnaround, recovery and financial restructuring solutions
• Conducting financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting and scenario planning
• Supporting distressed M&A and transaction processes
• Liaising with lenders, investors, legal advisers and other stakeholders
• Supervising and developing junior team members
• Contributing to business development and proposal work
• Ensuring compliance with insolvency legislation and professional standards

The Candidate:

• CPI/CII qualified (JIEB desirable or in progress)
• Strong experience in corporate restructuring and insolvency
• Solid technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation
• Commercially aware with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multiple assignments and mentoring junior staff
• ACA/ACCA advantageous but not essential
