About The Role:
A leading, global architecture and design practice is seeking a Document Controller to join its London office.
In this role, you will work closely with one other Document Controller, as well as internal Project Managers, design teams, and international colleagues, to implement and manage effective document control systems, in collaboration with external consultants. Responsibilities include overseeing correspondence distribution, managing the issue of drawings and documents, and maintaining document control processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have previous document control experience supporting design or project teams within the architecture or interiors sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating the practice’s document control processes
- Timely issue and distribution of drawing and documents
- Check all documents for accuracy and compliance
- Tracking document revisions, maintaining registers and controls
- Assist the project and design teams with accessing information
- Schedule and coordinate meetings in relation to projects
- On occasion collaborate with and attend client meetings
Key Skills / Requirements:
- Solid experience in a document control position within the architecture / design industry
- Proficiency in document management software (Aconex being advantageous)
- Knowledge across document control regulations, principles and standards
- Process driven with a high attention to detail
- Has the confidence to challenge and update processes in order to achieve a more streamlined way of working
- MS office proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with international, multis-sector projects highly desirable
