Role Summary

The FP&A Manager – Reporting & Analytics is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insight-driven financial reporting to senior leadership. The role focuses on performance analysis, variance reporting, business partnering, and process optimization to support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities


Reporting & Management Information

  • Produce monthly management reporting packs, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPI dashboards.
  • Prepare board-level presentations with clear commentary on performance drivers and risks.
  • Maintain reporting accuracy, data integrity, and strict adherence to reporting timelines.


Variance Analysis & Performance Tracking

  • Perform detailed analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast.
  • Identify root causes of variances across revenue, margin, operating expenses, and cash flow.
  • Provide concise explanations and recommendations to finance and operational stakeholders.


Business Partnering

  • Partner with commercial, sales, and operations teams to evaluate performance and profitability.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by aligning financial targets with operational plans.
  • Provide financial guidance to improve cost efficiency and revenue optimization.


Process Improvement & Automation

  • Improve FP&A workflows, reporting structures, and internal controls.
  • Implement automation and digital reporting solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial planning systems and tools.


Strategic & Ad-Hoc Analysis

  • Develop financial models for scenario planning and investment analysis.
  • Support due diligence and financial evaluation of M&A or cost optimization initiatives.
  • Deliver rapid analysis for executive-level decision support.

  • Qualified Accountant


  • Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with experience using ERP systems and financial software
