The Company

This global investment firm are expanding their equities capability, with a focus on fundamental long/short investing supported by quantitative research and portfolio construction tools. The approach prioritises flexibility, disciplined risk management, and stock-specific alpha.

As part of this expansion, the firm is appointing a Junior TMT analyst to support the Sector Lead.

The business is organised around small, sector-focused teams that are supported by shared data, technology, and research resources. Investors operate in a collaborative environment with high transparency and accountability, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to portfolio outcomes.

The Role

• Conducting deep company, industry, regulatory, and balance-sheet analysis to source idiosyncratic alpha.
• Building models from the ground up and integrating alternative data to enhance forecasts and investment decisions.
• Actively contributing to portfolio construction, with full transparency into P&L.
• Leveraging systematic signals, alternative data, and quantitative tools to enhance idea generation and portfolio robustness.
• Collaborating closely with other PMs and analysts, sharing insights and contributing to the broader investment ecosystem.

Your Profile

• 1+ years of experience in TMT coverage and a large depth of knowledge in the sector
• Strong collaborator, eager to build relationships within a dynamic team.
• Naturally curious, with a passion for deep fundamental research.
