Fire Risk Consultant

Fully Remote | Up to £75,000 DOE | Up to £2k Monthly Bonus | 9-Day Fortnight | Nationwide

I’m currently partnering with a growing, specialist fire-engineering and fire risk consultancy seeking a highly experienced Fire Risk Consultant / Senior Fire Consultant to join their expanding technical team.

Our clients support a diverse client base, including developers, architects, housing providers and asset managers, delivering robust, compliant and commercially practical fire-safety solutions across the full building lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a vastly experienced consultant looking to operate within a technical, collaborative consultancy. With scope to influence complex projects and support the development of specialist services.

You’ll be joining a team of fire risk consultants delivering work across complex residential and mixed-use commercial portfolios nationwide.

The role will involve, but not be limited to:

• Conducting complex, risk-based Fire Risk Assessments in line with current legislation

• Leading Construction Stage Fire Risk Assessments

• Completing Pre-Occupation Fire Risk Assessments

• Supporting and contributing to Building Safety Case development

• Compartmentation surveys

• Providing high-level fire risk management and compliance advice to clients

• Liaising directly with developers, housing providers, managing agents and project stakeholders

Optional and structured development into:

• External wall surveying

• PAS 9980 Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEW)

• Retrospective Fire Strategies

• Remediation strategy and façade fire-safety consultancy

• Broader fire-engineering and performance-based design projects

The business actively supports progression and provides mentoring pathways into senior, principal and specialist consultancy roles.
