Architect - Residential Projects

Architecture Social is looking for a Architect - Residential Projects

Job description

Architects – Intermediate to Senior Level | People‑Focused Residential Studio | London | Hybrid Working

A central London architecture studio is looking to welcome Architects at intermediate to senior level to join its growing residential team. This is a great opportunity to become part of a calm, people‑focused practice working on high‑quality residential and mixed‑use projects across the UK and further afield.

The studio has built a strong reputation for thoughtful, well‑crafted architecture that balances design quality, technical clarity and a genuine interest in the way people live and experience space. Their work spans large urban masterplans through to detailed delivery and interiors, with several major schemes progressing on site and a solid pipeline secured for the year ahead.

Architects joining the team will work closely with experienced directors and project leads in a friendly, open studio environment. It’s a place where ideas are encouraged, everyone has a voice, and people are supported to grow at the pace that suits them.

The Role

Architects in this team will focus on residential‑led projects, typically from Stage 3 onwards. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Developing and coordinating detailed design information using Revit
  • Working on projects moving into technical stages and delivery
  • Collaborating with internal teams, consultants and wider stakeholders throughout the design process

Requirements

  • Qualified Architect with strong residential experience
  • Confident working from RIBA Stage 3 through to delivery
  • Solid Revit skills and experience producing coordinated technical information
  • Full right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Immediate or short‑notice availability is helpful but not essential

What’s on Offer

  • A supportive, friendly and genuinely collaborative studio culture
  • Close involvement with experienced directors and the wider leadership team
  • Clear opportunities for progression as the studio continues to expand
  • Exposure to a variety of residential and mixed‑use projects at different scales
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Hybrid working options with regular work‑from‑home opportunities
  • Regular socials, CPDs and an annual studio trip

This role would suit Architects who enjoy working in a thoughtful, design‑led environment and are looking for a long‑term position within a studio that values people, collaboration and the craft of well‑made architecture.
