As IT Contract Manager, you’ll take ownership of the commercial performance of a complex Digital & Technology estate, ensuring value, compliance and supplier accountability across critical services.

The Role

You will:

• Lead end-to-end IT procurement processes from market engagement through to award
• Ensure compliance with Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015
• Oversee the full IT contract lifecycle, including negotiation, performance monitoring and renewal
• Manage supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs
• Resolve contractual issues, variations and disputes
• Maintain and proactively manage the IT contract register
• Work closely with Legal, Finance and Corporate Procurement
• Deliver cost efficiencies, social value and risk mitigation across contracts

You’ll operate with autonomy and visibility, influencing senior stakeholders and protecting commercial interests at every stage.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years in IT commercial / contract management within a public-sector or regulated environment
• Strong working knowledge of Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015
• Experience managing complex, high-value IT contracts
• Confidence in negotiation and stakeholder challenge
• Strong understanding of contract law principles
• MCIPS qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to translate commercial complexity into clear senior-level reporting
