A leading UK asset owner is seeking a Public Markets Investment Associate to join its Investment Division.
This role is strictly for candidates currently working in an investment team, with 2–3 years of post-graduate experience, and a clear interest in public markets.
The Role:
The Associate will support senior investors across a diversified public markets portfolio, with responsibilities including:
- Portfolio monitoring and performance analysis
- Risk analysis across market, macro, factor, and portfolio dimensions
- Manager research and due diligence
- Investment data ownership, analytics, and reporting
- Supporting capital allocation decisions across public market strategies
Essential Requirements:
Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
- Currently working within an investment team (asset manager, asset owner, pension fund, endowment, or investment consultancy)
- 2–4 years of professional investment experience
- Demonstrable interest in public markets, such as equities, fixed income, or absolute return strategies
Desirable Experience:
- Hands-on experience with investment data, performance analysis, and risk frameworks
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Progress toward CFA and/or CAIA
