Senior Executive Administrative Assistant – Global Investment Banking


Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or permanent conversion)

Location: London, UK

Working hours: Full-time

Onsite requirements: Initially full-time in the office; moving to 1 day working from home once training is complete

Engagement Type: Contract (via PAYE)

Hourly Rate: Up to £30 per hour (DoE)

Atrium Global is partnering with a Tier 1 banking organisation to hire a experienced Senior Executive Administrative Assistant to support their Global Investment Banking team. This role sits within a fast paced, high performing environment and requires exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively.


Job Overview

You will provide high-level administrative support to senior leaders and bankers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and acting as a trusted point of contact across internal teams and external clients. This opportunity suits a proactive, professional individual who thrives under pressure and enjoys working within a dynamic corporate setting.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comprehensive diary management, including organising internal and external meetings
  • Arranging conference calls and video conferences across multiple time zones
  • Booking and coordinating complex domestic and international business travel
  • Processing expenses using Concur in line with company policies
  • Developing knowledge of team priorities, clients, and ongoing transactions
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, assistants, and external client contacts
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Managing inboxes, prioritising and responding where appropriate
  • Taking ownership of professional telephone communications and queries
  • Supporting team offsites, events, and logistics planning
  • Providing cover for the wider administrative team during holidays or peak periods


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven administrative support experience within financial services or a fast-paced corporate environment, ideally investment banking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Confident interacting with stakeholders at all seniority levels
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Professional, proactive, and dependable approach
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
