Project Architect – Commercial Workplace & Retrofit Projects
London | Hybrid Working
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Project Architect to join a renowned, design-led London practice known for delivering beautifully crafted, high-profile commercial schemes. Architects of all levels will be considered, provided you can demonstrate strong design ability and delivery experience aligned with the role.
The Role
You will play a key role in the delivery of commercial office projects, working across a diverse portfolio including:
- Commercial workplace developments
- Listed building retrofit and refurbishment schemes
- CAT A & CAT B office fit-outs
- Design-led refurbishment and repositioning projects
The successful candidate will be confident leading projects through technical delivery stages while maintaining strong design quality from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects across RIBA Stages 0–7, with a strong focus on Stages 3–5
- Develop coordinated technical packages and detailed design information
- Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and internal design teams
- Maintain high design standards throughout project delivery
- Produce and oversee high-quality drawing and presentation outputs
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with ARB registration (preferred)
- Proven experience working on commercial office projects
- Strong background in listed buildings, retrofit, and workplace fit-outs
- Excellent technical knowledge and delivery experience at RIBA Stages 3–5
- Working knowledge of all RIBA stages
- Proficiency in Revit or MicroStation
- A portfolio demonstrating outstanding design ability and beautifully presented imagery
- Strong communication and coordination skills
