This role involves selling our market leading Surgical and Critical Care product range, which includes suction and fluid management, drainage, blood pressure monitoring, patient temperature management products as well as our exclusive range of NRFit® range of products, predominantly, but not exclusively, within the NHS. You will be building relationships with a range of clinicians at all levels, as well as Procurement departments.

Clinical education, training and after sales support have been pivotal to the success of GBUK group and therefore a degree of account management will form an essential part of the role.

The role:

You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of NHS hospital accounts, selling GBUK’s Surgical and Critical Care product ranges and working closely with clinical and procurement stakeholders across healthcare settings.

  • Developing and executing a clear account and product strategy

Key responsibilities:

  • Building lasting relationships across your territory
  • Identifying and maximising upcoming tender opportunities
  • Identify and develop opportunities within existing, and new, NHS accounts
  • Managing the product mix and margins according to agreed aims
  • Using customer and prospect contact tools and systems
  • Responding to, and following up on, sales enquiries using appropriate methods
  • Monitoring market and competitor activities and providing relevant reports
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets across the territory
  • Presenting at internal and external customer meetings for business development purposes
  • Building relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and KOLs
  • Leading the sales process from product introduction and evaluation through to contract negotiation
  • Analyse market and competitor activity to inform territory strategy
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and reporting

About you:

You’ll be part of a high performing team, and as such, will need to bring a passionate, curious and quality-driven approach. In return you’ll be generously rewarded for strong performance and will be supported with training and development opportunities.

Our ideal candidate would come with proven commercial sales experience, ideally within medical devices or NHS-facing healthcare industry, but the key will be, the passion and drive you bring to the role.

  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement, and decision-making
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
  • Comfortable managing a large territory and working autonomously
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Must live within the territory (for example Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Northampton, Derbyshire or West Midlands)

Why GBUK Group?

We are a growing and innovative business, focused on enhancing patient care. You will join at an exciting time for us as we thrive and continue to grow into new markets.

  • We are a values-led organisation with a strong internal culture
  • You’ll receive an excellent salary, compensation and benefits package
  • We’re proud of our supportive and collaborative sales environment
  • You’ll be joining a business that genuinely prioritises patient care, innovation, and doing the right thing
  • You have the opportunity to build a long-term career and develop, not just hit short-term numbers (over 90% of leadership roles filled through internal promotion)
  • You will be working in a fun, innovative and quality-focused business

If you’re an experienced sales professional looking to join a growing, respected medical device company where relationships and outcomes matter, we’d love to hear from you.
