Area Sales Manager - South West & West Midlands

Field-based role covering the South West, South Wales and West Midlands, working with builders' merchants, DIY retailers and industrial distributors. Representing a market-leading brand in fixings and fastening solutions, supplying multiple trades.

You'll manage around 170 spending accounts, developing existing business and reactivating lapsed customers, with a strong focus on new growth. Expect 3+ planned customer meetings per day, 3-4 days per week in the field. Excellent internal support across marketing, sales admin and warehousing.

Opportunity to influence end users in flooring, roofing, fencing and upholstery, driving demand back through distribution partners.

Established UK business with global supply chain and strong stock profile.

£40-45k basic + 20% quarterly bonus + £5k car allowance + pension + 25 days holiday.

Ideal location: Bristol, Gloucester or Birmingham.

Desired Skills and Experience

Have a couple of years B2B field sales experience as a minimum
Has route planning, account segmentation, and new business skill sets
Understands selling through distribution/builders merchants
Someone who is up for the challenge, able to spend a night away per week, and build business
Have an ambition to grow their personal brand and develop as a sales professional
Full & Clean Driving licence
