Role Overview:


The Area Manager will be responsible for the development of Leasys business on a Regional basis

through the Retailer and Broker channels.


Location:

This Job will be based in North East England.


Main job responsibilities:


• The Area Manager will have responsibility for the identification and development of business

opportunities for Leasys UK Ltd through all dealers and brokers withing their designated portfolio.

• Be knowledgeable on all aspects of regulation and monitor Broker / Retailer activity in line with

this. Where areas of potential risk are identified, raise to Head of Indirect Sales for further review

• Ensure all Brokers / Retailers are aware of Leasys policies around business placement and notify

in writing any changes as required from time to time (I’m referring to min and max contract lengths,

commissions, target market etc)

• Monitor competitor and market activity, utilising knowledge to identify opportunity for business or

product development

• Identify potential business risk and resolve / report accordingly e.g. Pricing anomalies

• Demonstrate ownership of complaints / issues raised by Brokers / Retailers / Customers and work

with relevant stakeholders to bring to conclusion

• Help create a sales strategy to ensure the achievement of maximum profitability and sales

objectives as set by the business.

• Maintain high visibility within the Broker and retailer network in your area, striving to achieve

activity levels and performance KPI’s as set by The Head of Indirect Sales.

• Perform regular meetings and reviews to identify areas of improvement in performance and

grow sales penetration.

• Be knowledgeable on all aspects of regulation and monitor Broker / Retailer activity in line with

this. Where areas of potential risk are identified, raise to Head of Indirect Sales for further review

• Maintain records of meeting activity including discussion topics, updating stakeholders of

noteworthy topics as appropriate

• Ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly Company targets are achieved and where possible

exceeded

Accompany Local B2B network managers on customer and prospect meetings as and when

required.

• The Area Manager will work closely with the Broker and retailer network to ensure that that all

Leasys led campaigns are fully promoted withing each network and your partners are kept up to

date with all latest offers.

• Act as the go to for all Broker / retailer partners and work with the Campaign Manager and Head

of indirect Sales to maximise any opportunity on Broker/retailer introduced campaigns.

• Coach and train the retailer and Broker personnel on how to use the Leasys systems in order to

maximise every opportunity.

• Work in conjunction with the Campaign, Pricing Manager and Brands to ensure offers are

monitored and remain competitive in the market place.

• Deliver regular orders and delivery forecasts as required by the Head of Indirect sales

• To participate in cross-functional business projects with the aim of delivering value to the

development function as well as to the overall business.

• To work closely with the Head of Indirect Sales, Brands and the Fleet Marketing Manager to

ensure that development activities complement and coordinate with on-going marketing, sales

and account management activities.

• To work closely with Credit and Pay-out Team to maximise business opportunities and minimise

the time to market.


The ideal candidate will be able to:


• Be a self-motivated individual with strategic and commercial awareness possessing both

presentation and persuasive skills.

• Proven experience of working in a pressurised environment, with the ability to achieve

deadlines.

• Be a true team player, a knowledge sharer who works for the benefit of the overall team.

• Have the ability to build relationships, negotiate at board level and influence others to optimise

• Have experience of sales in the Motor Industry and/or Finance Industry.

• Have an in-depth knowledge of Funding and Fleet Management solutions

• Have a valid current driving licence is essential.

• Have strong IT skills to include, knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
