Job description
Assistant Store Manager
Premium Lifestyle Brand – Central London
We are partnering with a fast-growing, design-led premium lifestyle brand to recruit an Assistant Store Manager for a flagship Central London boutique.
This is not just a number-two role. This is for someone who leads from the front, protects culture, builds resilience within their team, and delivers exceptional service — even on the busiest trading days.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive commercial performance while nurturing a positive, high-energy and accountable team environment.
The brand is vibrant, entrepreneurial and community-driven — it needs a leader who can balance pace with polish, and performance with people.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading daily floor operations in a high-footfall, high-energy environment
- Driving KPIs including conversion, ATV, UPT and CRM capture
- Delivering exceptional, consistent customer experience at all times
- Coaching and developing Sales Associates through structured feedback and in-the-moment guidance
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and team integration
- Building resilience within the team during peak trade and challenging trading periods
- Protecting brand standards across VM, product presentation and store environment
- Taking ownership of operational excellence including rotas, stock control and compliance
- Acting as a cultural anchor — motivating, steady and solution-focused
Who We’re Looking For
- A strong Assistant Manager (or experienced Supervisor ready to step up) from premium or lifestyle retail
- Commercially confident and target-driven
- Naturally nurturing — someone who develops people, not just manages them
- Resilient and calm under pressure
- Service-obsessed with high personal standards
- Energetic, hands-on and present on the shop floor
Why This Role?
The business is growing, ambitious and full of personality. This is a chance to join a brand where culture truly matters — and where leadership presence makes a real difference.
If you are someone who thrives in dynamic environments, loves building strong teams and understands that service is the foundation of commercial success — this could be a brilliant next step.
