Bid Manager

Global Tech Collective Ltd is looking for a Bid Manager

Job description

I’m on the lookout for a Bid Manager.

Full disclosure: if you like “managing bids” by sending calendar invites and asking other people to write the answers… this probably isn’t for you.

This is 80% writing.

I’ve worked with this particular business for over four years. They’ve got incredibly smart, talented consultants. Proper public sector exposure. Big programmes. No inflated titles. Just capable people who deliver.

They need someone who can turn complex technical input into something that actually make sense and more importantly…wins.

You’ll be:

  • Sitting with SMEs and dragging the good stuff out of them
  • Shaping win themes
  • Obsessing over evaluation criteria
  • Making sure the response answers the question being asked, not the one someone wishes they’d asked
  • Owning the submission

There’s governance. Frameworks. Competitive tenders. All the usual public sector mechanics. You’ll need to know that world.

But culturally this matters more. They don’t want a bid librarian. They want someone who gets stuck in.

AI? Use it. Absolutely. As a force multiplier. But the thinking still needs to be yours.

HQ is London with plenty of remote work on offer but they are looking for someone who’s happy to collaborate in an office during specific stages of the bid process.

Base salary ranges from £60-75k (DOE) + bonus and benefits

If you’ve got experience in technology consulting, if you understand UK public sector and if you enjoy writing bids that win then it’s worth getting in touch.
