INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER (MEDICAL DEVICES)

Based in London, this organisation is commercialising new innovative medical devices for the treatment of wound care. The company has medical device approval in Europe and is currently expanding to other regions including the USA.

The role will involve a mix of business development, distributor management and marketing — making it ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, international environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Play a key role in growing the customer base, managing distributor relationships, and driving sales of the company’s medical devices.
- Generate revenue of the company’s medical device portfolio within hospitals and healthcare organisations.
- Identify, approach, and convert new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of customers and key opinion leaders.
- Oversee sales efforts across different international markets, managing international distributors and ensuring complementary strategies across regions.
- Participate in international conferences, exhibitions, and workshops to showcase technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and regulatory teams to synchronise sales efforts.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Five years’ experience working in international sales of medical devices within a start-up or scale-up environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Must be competent in the use of MS Office, Internet and email.
- Must have professional working competency in English.
- Additional European or Middle Eastern languages are desirable.
- Proven ability to develop new markets and establish strategic partnerships.
- Knowledge of the wound care or infection market is desirable.
- Happy to travel up to half of the working week within EMEA and APAC (ex. US).
